Compare 132 Pantone beige and tan references, covering creamier neutrals, muted sand and warmer camel-like directions. Subtle differences are easier to judge with the colors side by side, so begin with the featured selection before exploring the full groups. Each card includes its name and a copyable HEX reference for digital layouts. If a candidate feels too deep or too neutral, the related brown and gray collections provide useful points of comparison.

Design & print notes
Choose a reference white first
Compare beige candidates against the white that will actually appear in the design. A warm page background, a product photograph and an off-white label may each change what you want from the surrounding neutral. Keep all of them visible when reviewing the shortlist. Use a larger sample area as well as a small card so the overall balance is easier to assess.
Make subtle boundaries intentional
For beige interfaces, test whether adjacent panels and controls can still be distinguished at the intended size. Add a visible border when a small lightness difference is not enough. Check body text and secondary labels separately for contrast. Do not rely on a soft beige tint alone to indicate an editable field, an active selection or a required step in a form.
Review paper and ink together
Decide whether the beige appearance will come from the substrate, printed color or a combination of both. Describe that choice clearly to the printer and request a sample of the proposed construction. Compare the sample with the other neutral materials used in the project. Record the approved physical target independently from the HEX value used in a website mockup or presentation.
